**The Book Fair is off to a great start and you are invited to join us! Hours are: Today until 6pm, Tues- 8am-5pm, Wed – 8am-5pm, Thurs – 8am- 7:30pm and Friday – 8am-5pm
** You are invited to join us for “Celebrate Writing Night” this Thursday, from 6-7pm in your child’s classroom. Students are excited to have examples of their writings to share. Concessions will be available.
** The Raymore-Peculiar Diversity Appreciation Night is this Wednesday, May 2nd from 7-8:30 at the (South) High school. This is a program showcasing the talents and diversity of students district wide , Kindergarten through 12th grade. Students can do crafts, see art projects, watch dancing and singing, play games, try diverse foods like Mexican and Greek food and even watch food demonstrations (in which our own Mary Rios will be involved in with her family). This is the only district wide family event and there is so much for everyone to see . Come celebrate our district’s rich diversity!
**Our first annual Patriot Walk-a-Thon is this Friday, May 4th. Students will be “walking the walk” during their scheduled grade level time, with the awards assembly at the end of the day. Thanks to all who help gather donations for this event.
** Pre-ordered Field Day shirts have arrived and will be sent home shortly. There are a VERY LIMITED number of extras (in varying sizes) which will be available for sale on a first come, first served basis at $8.00 per shirt. Contact the office if you are interested.
